So, im going to get the Quarterhorse to tune my 5.0 with a thumper and tmoss combo and an AMS cam and i know a wideband will be necessary but im not sure about which is a good one to go with. I have heard Innovate is a good company and found one of their widebands here that seems alright for the price, Innovate Motorsports 3737 Wideband.

Also with running the QH, the wideband should be able to connect with my laptop for dataloging but should i also have a gauge for it? And I did some reading about this on eectuning.org and it says about mounting the wideband in the EGR? I thought the wideband was mounted in the exhaust if someone could shed some more light on that it would be appreciated.

Innovate is good and will integrate directly in with BinEditor. I speak from first hand experience in saying PLX is crap. What they are referring to is a lot of people hook up the signal wire to the egr signal wire to datalog the wideband.

ive used the AMS and FJO in the past and ive heard good things about the fast also...

if i put on in the LX ill go with a fast just so i can have both banks covered

I have a fast and I like it a lot. Datalogs for up to 2 minutes I believe and has a playback right on the screen. Dead on with my tuners dynojet wideband also.
