Is this a better way to go???

Ok i went down by my 87 GT vert i brought down my GT40 intake that i painted..the 1.7 cobra R/R's, the new computer to change to MAF...so i was asking him a few questions...about the injectors and MAF general stuff ..He said now that im going with the gt40 heads and intake..i should go to 42 pound injectors and a 90 mm Lighting MAF meter and then he can give me a chip with 5 tunes on it. oh yeah and he said to get the 255 lph blower fuel pump???...which one is that...Does this sound like a better way to go from 24lb injectors and a 70 mm MAF cailbrated for the injectors and a 190 lph?...What will be the benefit of this?will i gain more power any help would be great...Oh yeah the injectors and MAF afe for sale now...lol....

Fuel delivery investments on a forced induction application are always money well spent. If he's a good tuner he'll be able to tune for the 42lb injectors (even if you're running low boost). The 255 lph pump is also good insurance in case you ever want to step up the boost later on.

He might be talking about the Vortech pump, or the T-rex pump... Vortech makes a 190lph and a 255lph. It isn't only for blower applications, but it's made by Vortech, a company that is known for superchargers. Just buy a Walbro, they're cheaper and just as good if not better. The majority of aftermarket fuel pumps are just re-badged Walbro units anyway.
