So, two separate people I asked told me that there were no holes in the metal of the front fenders if I remove the lame "35th Anniversary" emblems. I used some Goo Gone and a hair dryer and floss and removed the emblems... and there are holes! GAY! Now I have to replace the emblems I didn't want with different emblems I still don't want. |

It's okay, I ordered some replacement "GT" emblems from American Muscle to cover the holes. I can't wait until an unsuspecting EVO or WRX thinks my car is just another '99 GT. Should be fun. |

The suv was on the other side of the highway prob going 80-90 cruising a long and when the camera shows it its when the camaro lets off and the suv slowly starts to pull a way. Clearly the cobra was on it the whole time. Not 100% sure but I believe the camaro is about 200 lbs lighter and is surely making about the same power as the cobra. Not starting a fordvschevy argument in notches thread just throwing it out there. Chances are notches gt is faster then the cobra in the vid anyways.
Yes, roll racing is lame |

Yes, roll racing is lame | dunno just seems odd, and seems that cobra drivers desperatly needs the driver mod, cause the dude driving the camaro was really pulling on his shifts, and racing from a dig it the only way to go when it comes to straight line stuff |

I have run many LS1 Camaros and F-birds with heads, cam, plenum etc etc with my exhaust, tune, pully only Cobra and have destroyed them. That Cobra backed down right as it hit its big power band so I call on that video or cam only on that catfish.
Anywho, get the running horse badge instad and really throw people for a loop.
Its not really a GT any more eaither.

Its not really a GT any more eaither. | I will personally agree with this statement...my buddy's turbo stock 5.0 fox has handed the ass to several "Cam only" LS1 cars. He's either packin way more than a cam or the Cobra wasn't even tryin. |

i wouldnt under estimate cam only LS1's buddy of mine has been 10.0's with an LS6 swap and and a cam... not many 10.0 or faster cobras... granted we have alot of very very fast Fbodys in my area |

The cobra driver prob does need the driver mod though I agree, the camaro driver could be better also though. A turbo fox is comparing apples to oranges if its anything near its stock limit. It SHOULD make more power then a cobra and weigh quite a bit less. They should be taking out cammed LS1's. |

| | Let's hop off the LSx train in here and get back to the subject.
Pony badges, shaved rear bumper and 03-04 Cobra front sound pretty damn enticing IMO. |

I love the LSx line as much as the next guy. Before this GT found me I was talking to a guy on LS1tech that wanted to trade me an LS1 '93 RX7 with a 150 shot through a 4L60 and cobra IRS. The thing was badass, the deal fell through though.
I'm comfortable in a Mustang though, and I love this car already. Cleaned the interior up a bit today, more to do though. |

WOW! That is my exact car! Or that's exactly the way I want to do mine, anyway. Thanks for posting Dustin! Now I'm definitely doing the cobra kit with the rear lettering shaved. Sick! Did he keep the GT side skirts? Does your buddies car have that weird whine that mine has?

Side note: This Mach 460 sound system with 6 CD changer is so badass. You can't necessarily hear it when the car is running but it's awesome every other time! |

He actually has the entire termi kit, minus the hood & spoiler. His car is just a stock 2V with a small KB under the hood | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
