Album: 1982 Mustang GT Resto-Mod

Take one bone-stock &#039;82 GT, strip it down inside and out, spend 1000+ hours on the body, reassemble with aftermarket parts and the end result is a car I can take to show or the track. All work, except spraying the primer and paint, was done at home in a small double car garage. Thanks to my husband Jim for his vision and hard work!<br /> <br /> Engine: 408W stroker, Ross pistons, Comp cam XE284, Edelbrock Air Gap intake, balanced &amp; blueprinted.<br /> Drivetrain: T5Z transmission, billet steel flywheel, McLeod kevlar clutch, Currie 9&quot; rearend, 31 spline axles, Detroit Tru-Trac diff - 3.70 gears<br /> Brakes: Baer drilled / slotted, 13&quot; front, 12&quot; back<br /> Suspension: Eibach Sport Line springs, pro dampers, bump-steer kit, adjustable castor/camber plates, Ford Racing front lower control arms, Currie tubular rear lower control arms and double adjustable rear upper control arms, quick ratio steer rack, torque boxes, subframe connectors.<br /> Wheels / Tires: Cobra R’s, Yokohama ES100’s. Rear – 245/45/17. Front – 235/45/17
