My traction control switch stopped working and i thought it might be the bulb. Ford says there is no replacement through them only the whole switch so i thought i might try some bulbs from radio shack and found #7219 micro lamps 12v 60mA with a wire-terminal base works perfectly. Cheap fix as its only about $1.50 for the bulbs. Once u take out the switch and see the bulb holders on the side of the switch it should be pretty self explanitory how to go about it. If anyone needs help with it let me know.

Awesome that you posted it. Write that bulb number down somewhere, im sure some posts will come up in the future about it.

But you might want to look into why that bulb went out in the first place...

For LED replacement bulbs for the Traction Control Sw...go to "SUPERBRIGHTLEDS.COM". THE NEO3, AND NEO4 ARE THE TWO THAT ARE NEEDED. YOU CAN CHOOSE FROM MANY COLORS. DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE FOG LIGHT SWITCH, YET.

Great helpful info in this post.... replaced a burned out bulb in the fog light switch today (2 bulbs at the auto parts store for $4.25). It was a little tricky putting the switch back together so watch where the spring, small contact and ball-bearing parts come from when you disassemble it. Thank you all!

was wondering if any one had step by step instructions on how to replacr the led bulbs in the control switches and maybe some picture of the inside of the switches after finished
