is there a major difference between these two? I have the cobra intake but could sell it and get the trick flow for a 100 bucks new. The car is taken apart as of now. I know that the cobra is good but couldn't find a post where it compared these two.

I think maybe he ment $100, including the money he would get for the cobra intake.

If you are to move up to a trick flow you should at least get the track heat, I dont think it would be worth it selling your current one to just get the street heat intake.

i agree, it depends on your setup, if you have a mild street setup looking for more torque, the cobra is the way to go, if your looking for a more up top setup with aluminum heads and a good cam, id go with the trick flow.

our '92 5.0L Mustang had been running consistent 12.2 ET's at 113 mph with the ported Cobra intake. With the new Typhoon intake bolted up the car ran several 12.1X ET's in similar weather. While the gains are not overwhelming, they are positive. Here is the link to that story.http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2003/12/efiintake/

I would have to think that the Trick flow is just as good if not better than the Typhoon intake, also you didnt say if it was the Track or Street Trick flow.

Street Heat = 245cfm according to TF
Track Heat = 265cfm according to TF
Ported Cobra intake = ~260cfm ( I had my "standard" GT40 lower port work flow tested on a stock Cobra upper and corrected it was 256cfm average).

There is not a huge difference.........other variables will weigh heavily in the difference in power level.............
