A guy I know had his heavily modded Camaro SS stolen several weeks ago. They found it a few weeks later stripped...motor and all. Hope yours was just a joyride and they didn't beat it up too much.
damn that really sux!! maybe you can get the insurance money and put it toward a terminator.
Assuming they're cover him. Remember, he left the car in the driveway running with the keys in the ignition. Some companies view that as negligence and may not pay out.
This is a good suggestion! Just tell them you had your personal information on the keychain so that if it had gotten lost, someone could return it. I know that's stupid to do...but still!Tell the insurance company you lost your keys were stolen the previous day. I wish someone would steal my Hyundai, then I'd go buy another stang.
If the police never find your car get a Subaru STI.
Sorry for your loss.
In 2 pages not one person has suggested that you should have a remote car starter.
There are remote car starters out there designed specifically for manual cars which I'm assuming yours was.
If the handbrake is taken off or the brake pedal is touched the car will turn off .
Wow, I just moved to Wichita so I will keep all this in mind. Where do you live?

Why, are they suposed to be harder to steal, or is because very few people want them and don't bother?
on the STI, they are harder to steal. There's a chip under the steering column that you can take out and the car will not start w/o it. .
