Just a little update. I have the engine almost completely together & ready to drop back into the car. It's mainly mother nature that's holding me up (damn snow & ice storms - I don't think I'm going to see the grass in my front yard until May).
Oh, and I found out the hard way that I was supposed to keep the oil filter adaptor from the core engine (that threaded tube looking thing that screws into the block and that the oil filter screws on). I tried finding a new one but the local Ford dealership was clueless so I'm going to have to take the one off of old Sadie's engine and pray that it fits (it should). But to get it off, I have to use a really huge socket and an equally huge ratchet. It's about 2 1/2 feet long so I have to jack the car up just so I can get under there with the ratchet.
