I saw the car this afternoon. What a piece! Lots of work to go, but this thing will be one heckuva ride when it is done. Great starting point Kevin, keep at it. When you need help, I'm less than a mile away.

Here are some pictures of the parts SLOWLY trickling in... I must say it does suck waiting on one thing to get your motor together.

Here is parts of a MMR 900 Fuel system, and a used ATL 22 Gallon cell.

Just Curious, and seeing how much room I have to work with mounting the other guages.

Just before starting to modify the Rad Support.

Picture005.jpg

Modifying the rad support. Making the opening larger and getting rid of the inward lip/mounting points to move the radiator closer, and give the turbo mounting area more room.

I had to cut the scoop inhalf and reattach it to get it to sit flush... you can see the mark at the bottom. The scoops are not yet finished.

Hopefully with in a week and a half the motor will be buttoned up, and I can bring it back, from my friends with the EMS and start the Turbo mock up and really get the car moving. The goal is to have it moving under its own power by mid summer.

mmm, interesting thats ok i guess it will look that much cooler spinning 315's:D . I painted it with flat black rustolium protective enamel to keep it from flash rusting and such. The orignal plan was to finish it with the body color. Though thats costs more and i really want to finish it... so who knows.

How much boost are you running?

i was looking a another thread in here and he said he had 6 3/8 backspacing . i was wondering what youre running on yours and what you guys think i should do with the 18x10's i told the guy friday 5 1/2 backspacing. he's not going to order them until monday so i still have time to change it.

Its a Martz Chassis four link cut down to fit within my TCP Subframe connecters. If you need or want any specific pictures.

The rear is narrowed to 57" and I am pretty positive I ordered the 17x11 with 6" BS. Ill double check tonight when i get out of work.

i was looking at the heidt's 4-link. i have a 8.8" rearend out of a 92 5.0 i am going to do a 5-lug conversion on. a cobra IRS would be nice but i had the 8.8 lying around from my last car. the 8.8 is .5" wider on each side that the stock rearend.
i went to your page and looked at all of the pics very nice. ill learn how to post pics and put some up

chepsk8 and I where discussing how it was odd you that can put together and aftermarket pedal assembly that is better stock in many aspects but cost less. There are manual assmeblies on Ebay for buy it now 375, if your lucky you can find a clutch pedal, or assembly cheaper. This is what i got for the same price.

Another perk is the balance bar which gives you adjustablity, and Wilwood says safety should one master cylinder fail, you can adjust the other to help comp. from with in the car if you have a calbe hooked up to it.

Picture031.jpg
Dan you where right, it does look neat.
Since the stock column will not be use i should gain a small amount of room to move the assembly to the left some.
Picture033.jpg

In addition to a plate on the firewall there will be brackets that go to the dash bar as well to add in providing ample support.
