Started the 84 t-top coupe

I have been hating the look of my intake pipe and also i have really wanted to get an engine bay brace in this car, cause I think that with this combo I'm probably gonna need it. So I finally have got a plan. Here is the new intake pipe

Of course this means filling the old intake hole, the round hole is where the turbo tubing goes through.

I really did not want to mount an engine bay brace directly on the shock tower of a smoothed engine bay ever again, so here is my solution

Of course now I'm looking at redoing most of the paint, but I think it's really gonna be worth it. All the new peices will get powdercoated as well.

Good feeling to have the bodywork done again and be back in paint

Picked up a CFR oil pan , really wanted the larger capacity with the setup we're running, DSS also recommends it. The bad part is it doesn't fit. We had to lower the engine position in the car because of those HUGE Ford racing Z heads, so the new pan hits on the steering rack right in the center of the pan. After a few days of massaging, we got er, added kickouts to make up from the volume loss when it got shortened.
