Digital Tuning Which Motorcraft Plugs For My '99 Gt?

I have just turned 97,000+ miles and would like to do a tune-up @ 100K.
I want to stick with Motorcraft plugs.
What plugs came w/the car? Part#s?
What's the difference between Platinum & Iridium and which performs better?
Does Motorcraft make a Platinum and/or Iridium plug?
If so please specify part#s.

Thanks in advance.

Stick with the factory motorcraft platinums. Some will say to get copper plugs d/t their hotter spark, but you'll never notice the difference. Iridium is an expensive plug and while they tend to last a long time and offer a good spark, again I don't think they're worth the money.

Motorcraft platinum plugs should last 100K miles. AM sells them and if you send a PM to their StangNet rep you get a 6% forum discount.

I suggest NGK TR6 if you are prepared to change them every year. Be sure you research changing them. On the surface its a simple job but there are a lot of details you need to get right. I have already posted them should be easy to find...
