Ok I just bought a set of the shelby alcoa super snake wheels and had a couple of questions. My question is am I going to be able to use these without doing anything else to the car. Right now I have a complete stock setup on a 2011 GT as far as suspension and brakes go. Those are the next things to do on my to do list.

Shouldn't be any. The only issue I can think of is the Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors not fitting right, so you may need to buy new TPMS sensors. Obviously a really wide tire would rub in the front, but a 275/xxRxx should be good.

The wheels are larger and wider, 20x9 and 20x10 I think, so they will clear the brakes and such no problem. The rears might stick out a bit from the body, but is that such a bad thing?

The wheels will ft, but you might have more "wheel-gap" with the stock suspension and the lower profile tires.
The wheel gap should be the same provided he buys a tire with the correct aspect ratio. The problem is, that lower profile tires "look" like you've increased the wheel gap because of the shorter tire sidewall. It's an optical illusion. Great excuse to install a set of lowering springs though. :nice:

ok thanks for the info gearbanger. :nice:yea the suspension is the next upgrade im going for. Im looking into the fr3 handling pack from ford racing. I think it would be the best set up since I use my car as mostly a daily driver. I do plan on doing some racing with it in the future though.
