Cars lookin really good. but whats with all the ls swaps? im gonna go find a chevy and put a cyote in it.

lol but thats going to be a beast.
Thank you.
I'm a die hard car guy. Not a die hard ford guy.
Hadn't been on the forum when I started mine so I didn't know about collin And no one in my area has done one. But you're right-ish that they've become popular in small circles.
For the most part It was a big challenge for me and a huge undertaking which is what I was after.
I love mustangs and always will, but I truly enjoy the LS cars I've owned and driven. I just really prefer my mustangs. Seemed like a logical conclusion for me to own a car that's the best of both worlds. And one that any shmuck can't just go out and buy.

It's gotten an iffy response online at best. Which was to be expected.

With that said, I'm gonna get a summer out of it if all goes well and then I'll sell/tear it apart and start something else. I love building

i think its awesome hows that for a response. Doing things different is nice even if its all over the web in the real world you don't see them as much as you do on the web i enjoy yours and madmikes builds for the fact of the originality . Sometimes i am in my own thread like wow these people must be bored seeing the same build that has been done since 1996 so i applaud you!

Thanks, I appreciate it.
I do, and always will have an appreciation for builds like yours. They may be common, but doing it NICELY unfortunately is not.
Most of the ribbing on this board is good-natured and I enjoy it as much as anyone.
The day people start sending me money to build my cars is the day that I start considering there opinions.

I already want another coupe though. Been browsing classifieds all night

I share your self titled "car guy" over a "ford guy". I've owned plenty of Chevys/GM products. I like the LS builds. I just don't know enough about them to comment on. I'm more familiar with the older stuff. I'm enjoying this build fwiw. Can't wait to see how well it performs. Good job

I've got pics but it's pretty boring stuff

Brakes are plumbed and bled. Right now I did not install the manual prop valve. Which is how I'll drive it tommorow . But I'll definitely be installing it to move more braking to the rear.
Fan relays have been wired and run into the cabin. As soon as I get my holley pigtail I'll be ready to drive it.
Starters wired to a toggle for now. Can't find a cranking only wire to save my life. Want it on a momentary switch anyway, but I'm willing to admit it has eluded me.
Need to start on my gauge pod (said that before)

So hopefully tomorrow afternoon I'll get it out and either get it impounded or blow it up. or something between the two
