;p i hear you! im sitting here trying to save cash for this thing and i find out two more things broke. But i plan on the engine going and stepping up to a 351+ dss or= bottom end. selling the heads and getting some 205's and pray it all comes together. but for now im giving up on the (new parts) thinking. it costs so much money.... Sad to see a fellow stanger in the posistion you are in. If i thought about how much i put into my car and how little i could get for it, id probably give up on cars.

Heres an idea, i have hated my mustang to death before...Drove something else for about 2-3 weeks and i couldnt wait to get back into it. maybe you should try something like that?

Im kinda stuck buying this trans now but if i had the option, id buy a little pos turbo something ride around in it for about 2-4 months while saving up cash and make a pile of new parts :D then when you cant take the fact a truck can beat you going up hill with a boat behind it you start working on that stang, building it up exactly how you wanted and be happy again!

I have 0 patience and i just now realized i have no choice but to slow down the mods, start building stuff i know is going to break. Im 100% sure with your set up, once everything gets sorted out will put a huge grin on your face every time you stomp on it. Then you can take it to the track and beat the living crap out of most the cars there, and instead of poping it on a trailor you drive out of the place. It feels good man. i know how much i wanted to get rid of this thing but to think how much id have to put into another car to get where im at now, its just not worth it.

If it sells fast and you can get another car lined up then i guess go for it, but think of the time and money spent on this thing already...and think about it hard ;p Once its done and you are thinking about little mods you will thank yourself.

If I had any mph at all I wouldnt be tooo upset...but yeah it definately kinda sucks. That's wild youre on a 118k stock shortblock. I was hoping to at least be in your range, I wouldnt have been too upset. Running like a next to stock ls1 car with $$$$ into it can be slightly depressing; esp since I've had an lt1 (and wished I wouldve even started with that platform over my mustang, even when i was h/c/i) and my brother's already had a 99 z28 and I got to see him do literally nothing to the car and me with 296/315 on a mustang dyno with 3:73s couldnt get around the damn thing from a roll.

I've already put the car up for sale on a few sites, but I doubt I'll get any interest, plus its hurt, so what little value it is worth (despite my spending of like 14k on this thing) is practically null. It would be a miracle to get $8500 and I should shoot myself to even think that's an ok offer.

Hope you can sort your trans issues....I know thats the next $2k purchase to make after the upcoming 3k engine, after I've invested another 4k between the blower fuel and tuning. Muck Fustangs.

Thats horrible, i hope it gets figured out. Funny you said that about the ls1, thats what i was going to do ;p This is a 118k bottom end stock. the meth wakes the car up for sure but if the tune isnt perfect it can hurt the car so much. if this helps the first time out i went 12.87ish @ 115, then the tuner took some fuel out to lean it for the top end and the car came alive. The meth is just a bandaid for my poor block that im sure is going to kill itself soon. Im going to run 12 pounds through it before it goes though :D Right now im in the same boat. My trans finally said eff you jeff! and now i cant floor it in 3rd or 4th.

      ****ty.

I had spark and fuel issues between the MSD coil that appearantly went bad, and my 2nd inline pump loosing voltage.

Once that was sorted the car started to make some power, then started falling off and I lost the rear main seal on the dyno. Had to replace the clutch etc and I havent gone back since. Plus I'm getting a ton of blowby through the breather and it's pretty much just about dead. I guess 183k on the stock shortblock was too much....idk

I was actually trying to sell it and get an ls1 car like I had wanted originally but I think I'll most likley end up tossing a DSS 331 or something in there. What setup do you run bottom end wise? Stock block? If I could trap the 120 you did I would be happy as anything. Mine was like half falling off boost and pressurising the crankcase only going 108 and change......heck I went 105 n/a.

Heh, so no not really good at all :P
