I think I might have found a set of headers that will do the trick, took a bit of searching and looking at pics then opening lots of boxes, they are the old style tri wye and the passenger side is very tight to the block much like the older m11 headers, I will be picking my new set today and installing when I have time but I do feel these will work http://www.themustangshop.ca/product/302573/300503

Have you heard of a set of headers that work on the 302 that also has to get by the 88 5 speed bellhousing as the headers people can get for the 11 hit the bellhousing now so got stuck using the old manifolds for now but looking to move up to headers again while restoring mine

Mine are Heddman 351W Mustang II Swap headers. They are discontinued. I know most people are running 302 headers on the 351W and they work fine.
