Depends on what you want out of it. I probably have about $1500 in my nitrous setup. I have over time put all the bells and whistles on it. I started out with a used dry kit I got for $150. Stock engine with 48,000 miles will have no problem with a 100 shot. If you want a basic NOS dry kit, you can a used one for about $250.

How much does a nos kit cost? Can you install it your self? Do you think my engine would hold its got 48,000 miles on it?

I was running a Trick Flow 3 camshaft, with a set of old ported Canfield 192cc heads and an 80 shot. That engine just blew up. The new engine is basically the same setup with a custom camshaft and the heads re worked a little bit. Still sitting on the stand.

what have you done to your car to run those times? what kind of heads and cam do you have?
