I have a number of cars with IRS, so it's not that I'm a stick-axle hold-out who hasn't seen the view from the other side. Mostly, their behavior is benign, but the rear end of the C5 Corvette that I had an opportunity to drive once gave a couple of unexpected and unwanted twitches. Don't know why, but the fact that it happened is something I keep in mind whenever IRS is mentioned.

I've got a few things in mind for my '08 if I ever get around to swapping the OE springs out, but that's waiting on me finding springs of the stiffness and ride height that I want. There are a couple of things that I like about the way my '08's handling behavior that I won't sacrifice for appearance sake. Think axle roll steer and front to rear geometric roll center heights.
