Your lucky being a Mi. car under my hood was rusty, pitted and I had to weld in patches. Picked up some paint yesterday and I'm hoping to get it primed today. Your throttle cable on the 4 cly is going to be to short and the clutch cable may look all right but it needs to be changed out too. Have you changed out your brake booster yet? Another p.i.t.a. Ya drop the tank to unhook the fuel lines. Keep me posted.

i didnt sand the bay down or anything i just degreased it and simple green the rest cleand up nice i started to remove fuel lines but i was told i have to drop the tank is that true. i needed a diff harness i orderd it. on the throtle cable do i need to swap them or can i use the same one thats on the 4cyle?
