Josh....feels like **** not having the car huh? I haven't had mine since last Friday...been driving my dad's gay Cavalier around for a week. Can't wait to get mine back. You get so used to 8 cylinders...then going back to 4....feels like it hardly moves. It's pulling and pulling and pulling, tach hits 5500, snaps to second gear...I look at the speedo...38 mph.... :bang:

For any who care, my Talon is coming along nicely. All driveability issues have been fixed. A new, slightly larger turbo is due to arrive soon, alone with headers and short throw shifter. Hopefully the car will be running again sometime next week.

Hey baglock, how's the thing going with the guy who tried to scam you? Haven't heard anything about it for a while.

FBI filed it away in their archives. This was just another one of the Nigerians they think. There's been an internet based fraud ring operating out of there for awhile now so this is just another peg in the board.

I've a had about 2 weeks to get over it and so don't particularly care at this point. Had I actually been ripped off though, it'd be a different story.

I just got back in town and see that you guys have been busy. Broke the 8000 mark and nearly got it locked all at the same time. I am impressed. Hard not to notice it's the same guy(s) every time though. If it's a private matter gentlemen, the private messages are the perfect forum.

Carrot Top is a regular there?? .....since when is that a good thing? Lol...

Well someone just SHOOT me. My car was done today. It was DONE. In. ASSEMBLED. The oil pump doesn't work. The 86-95 Universal 5.0 pump from Autozone doesn't fit the oil pan for a 91. GO FIGURE. So now...waiting on a custom oil pump from Ford. I won't have the car back til the middle of the week probably. I swear to god if one more thing goes wrong I'm gonna just park that car in the middle of a set of goddamn train tracks. This is freakin Murphy's Law...everything that can go wrong will go wrong. I bring the car in to get a B303 cam, Performer RPM heads, and 1.6 rockers swapped on my old motor. Discover I need a new motor, so I order it. Discover a B303 wont work with my injectors, so I order an E303. Discover the Performer RPM heads have 2.02 intake valves, which wont work...so I have to pay $1100 and order another set with 1.9 intake valves. Then we get the new motor and it's missing freeze plugs and crap. And the oil pump. And the fitting so you can screw the oil filter in. All of that **** has to be ordered. Now it's finally come together..all assembled and ready to go....and THIS. :bang: :flame: [/End Venting]

Sorry about that.

The Evolution school was fun. I was reminded about being more aggressive and looking ahead. My times dropped after the second instructor got in my car and showed me what it could do again. I always seem to forget. We only got about 20 timed runs. I enjoyed it a lot.

Glenn, remember the guy in the S2000 that showed up at the end? Your buddy in the 350Z got him pretty good. S2000 man was about to do a fun run and 350Z guy kept hassling him about going along as a passenger. S2000 man finally turned around and saw the "Your Honda Sucks" shirt and said, "You ****ing bastard!" Everyone had a good laugh.

Yes the school was was fun and very informative. Mark was very helpful and gave excellent feedback. Elliot refreshed my memory about not trying to be so aggresive and that improved my section times markedly. I just hope I can retain what I learned and not slip back into my bad habits.

I guess I left too early since I didn't get to see the reaction to the "Honda Sucks" shirt. I bet it was a riot.

Hey Tim, thanks again for helping me out with the brakes situation.

dude, hes an admin on this site...cool it.

That still don't chage the fact that what he said was rude and off topic, does it?..I was not knocking anybody in my posts so what his point for saying what he said?...I'm not trying to flame :flame: but admin or no admin does not give him the right to smash other members for nothing.

BTW, is my sig really that long??

Well, you're new sig looks alright, but when you had it in a single column it pretty much took up my whole screen. ;)

Speaking of sigs, Hawk, do you know why mine has that big gap in it? I've tried everything I could think of in that code and nothing seems to fix it.

Where is everyone selling their Mustang parts? I need some J&M or Maximum Motorsports caster-camber plates, but not much shows up on the Corral or eBay. A decent set of struts and shocks would be nice for a low price (not KYB and not Bilstein/Koni, respectively).

Tim, you might try Tokico if Bilstein are out of your budget. The Bullit front struts (Tokico by Ford) seem to be a good deal if you can find them. You would need to have C/C plates to get the Bullit struts to fit your car properly though.

Here is where I bought my shocks and springs.

I just found some Tok's for your car here. Maybe he will deal?

Here is something you might look into as well.
