Volldamort said:Theres a thread over on SVTPerformance.com saying that KB cancelled their 99/01 kits
kirkyg said:Why would they do that after putting so much r&d in the kit?

z28killer said:I wanted a Kennebell so bad I could taste it but I priced it and the intercooled version was $5000. I ended up with a Novi 2000 and the guy who does all my work said I will get more power and quicker et.s with a cintrifical blower anyway. I love the way the Kennebell feels like an old big block or something though. Nothing beats the way a roots style supercharger looks under the hood either. For some reason I still find myself wishing I could get the Kennebell. If I could get a great deal on one for a 2000 GT I would have a Novi 2000 for sale.
Michael Johnson said:B.C. ran a 12.3 @ 114 mph and it was only his second time at the track. I would bet good money he will run under 11.5 with slicks and some good driving. How many centrifugal blown 4.6L GT's with minor bolt-ons run under 11.5's and do it on 9 psi of boost?
Before you centrifugal guys start to flame me I'm not saying the centrifugals are bad blowers. They are fine and a good choice for many people.
JM01 said:Primo ran 12.29 @ 108.13 (he let off the gas the last 20' due to his dial in time) on the same track same day. So I would say that both blowers can put you in the 11s with good driving. He was running drag radials.
*He has a Novi 2000 blower
Michael Johnson said:What psi of boost is he running? Also, keep in mind this was BC's second time at the track (don't mean that in a bad way BC ). I'm not playing down Primo's numbers either. Just want to make sure we're comparing apples to apples.
JM01 said:I'm not sure but maybe 10 psi.....also deadlurker ran low 12s and he is not a NMRA racer either. Not trying to make this thread a KB vs Centri
Michael Johnson said:I just see too many threads where someone states the twin screws don't perform at the track when this is far from the truth.
B C said:BTW car my car was wrecked last weekend. Fixable I think. But I was at a track on my first run and the guy in the other lane lost control at the 1/8 mile mark and flew into me. I was running a 1/10 faster and 3.5 mph faster at the 1/8 than I did on my 12.3 run. I think I would have made it to the 11's that day.
