My Mach is still 100% stock.. I've ran it a total of 7 times at the track thus far.. Here are my times:

First time at track ever with Mach in 89 degree weather @ 1200 miles on the odometer
14.2@101
13.9@104
13.6@103

2nd time at track w/ 85 degree weather @ 2400 miles on the odometer
13.6@104
13.3@105
13.2@105
13.2@106

All passes made on stock goodyears. As you can see as I learned to drive the car better and the car broke in a little I ran some pretty consistant low 13's.. Machs are VERY tight new and really wake up at around 3k miles. With the weather even cooler now I am confident I could crack low 13's all day stock. Don't care if you believe me or not, or think I have a factory freak... I just care that MY Mach is capable of running low 13's off the showroom floor.. Cobra Killer ran his to a 13.1 I believe his first time out.. stock..

Thanks for showing me your numbers. All I have to say is that I've never seen any stock Machs run that good in my neck of the woods (Tri State, Edgewater (Cincy, Ohio area)). I promise that next year I will pay more attention to the Machs and then I'll be able to decide for myself if they really are low 13 second cars.

You know the only reason that I started messing with some of the folks on this thread was because they were talking out of their arses. Several of them were talking about how fast they are, but none of them have ever driven one of those Machs on the good old 1320. At least you actually own one, and at least you actually took it to the track and enjoyed it. I'm willing to bet that one day you will actually get a high 12, that is with the perfect conditions. And when you do, I would be darn happy for ya.

And now to all of you, this guy runs that and that guy runs this, well :notnice: to you! Go out and get some real experience that you can share with others on this forum. And for those of you that hated me in this thread... well, I just wanted to say...... "Do you smell what the Scary is cooking for ya". :rlaugh:

Mr. Viper, isn’t it nice to see that you are on the same level of mentality as a 16 year old.

03GT, do you even own a car yet? :nice:
 I'll tell you what, that "16 year old" is 10 times more mature than you are. You are 36 years old and act childish. Do you always act this way (especially in real life) when people present you with facts and personal experiences? I sure as hell hope not.

I'm glad you pay attention. Re-read my post, post #64.

I hear what you're saying.. You are going on what you've seen. However, I do believe the Mach is a low 13 car given the right conditions and a good driver. Just like the GT CAN do high 13's given the right circumstances. Most drivers that do not want to beat on their car will get mid 13's.

So basically my point is, the car is a 13 second car. It's up to the driver if they want to beat on their car enough or have the skill to make it happen.

You must be a moron. It doesnt say in my sig that I have a GT or anything. Not only do I have an 03 GT, but my friend who is also 16, who probably knows more about cars then you do, has an 03 Mach 1. Not only have I raced him, but I have also driven his Mach. So yes, just like all of the other people arguing with you I have personal experience too. And you know what else, I bet "Mr. Viper" is happy to see that hes on the same level of mentality as me, and on even a higher level then me, since we are both on a much MUCH higher level then you. :D

Don't stoop down to be insulting like he is. Its not worth it. Let his posts speak for themselves. What it boils down to is a perfectly driven mach will be right at the 13 barrier and a perfectly driven gt will be right at 13.9 with 0 mods no exhaust shifter no pulling spare etc.

Thats from personal experience and in good weather conditions those should be about the level of performance the cars will put out. Mach 1's are much quicker than a GT period...

Ah yes, the old "I won't believe it until I see it myself" argument. Have you ever seen a space shuttle launch? If not how do you know they really are able to get into space? Couldn't it just be a video with some really cool special effects?

Come on man, several people here have posted their personal experiences and you still won't admit defeat. Go check out the mach 1 registry for more people posting about running low 13's stock. I thought it was a well known fact by now that mach1's are solid low 13 cars stock with a good driver and I have barely started getting interested in 'stangs.

Yep your right, I just wanted to let him know that I DO own a GT and I have had personal expirence with the Mach's. The only thing that I dont understand is how a 36 year old is trying to talk **** about a 16 year olds mantality when all you other 21-up guys agree with me.

Everyone that got pissed at me, thanks for giving me some laughs. Seriously now, I freaking love the Mach 1 and if I could of easily bought one back when I purchased my GT I would have. I still haven't seen any stock ones run as good as what you guys are saying, but I'll have to listen to my very mature friend 03GT (you know with all of his experience he is kind of like the Yoda of the Mustang world :p )

I would like to say that I'm so sorry for speaking my mind and not going along with the masses. Some people (like me) just don't believe stuff until they have seen it for themselves. So the spaceshuttle real did make it into space.... get the heck out of here!!

Anyway, I'm done with this thread, so I'm not going to egg anymore of you on. I have actually enjoyed the little inmature attacks that went in both directions (thanks guys). :D

Ok everyone, quit reading this stupid post and go start writing out your xmas wish list. Hopefully enough stang owners will ask Santa for a bunch of JEGs stuff, then we won't have to read about whether or not the Mach is a low 13 second car.... we will just freaking know that it is! :nice:

Enjoy your holidays, Ralph :flag:

Thats better Ralph. :nice:

You just pissed me off because I told you my personal experince, but yet you still did not belive the Mach is a low 13 second car.

Anywho, I got some good laughs as well.

Enjoy the holiday.

Mach is underrated plus :
Cobra has IRS and less torque down low.
Mach has solid rear and more torque. They improved on the the older 4V's and made them better, that's why the Mach is faster.

End of story!! Mach > 99 or 01 Cobra
