how is everyone running this setup???

Ok, personally, I would have done stud mounts if I knew I was going to have the VC issues I ran into...but whatever. I bought a set of used 1.7 Cobra's, they did not clear the GT valve covers. The rockers also weren't in the best shape, so I decided to just go with new FRPP 1.6's(don't ask why). Then I needed to find a valve cover to fit, and I ended up dishing out $250(ugh omg) for the chrome FRPP ones. Those cleared thankfully.

Installed the rocker arms, they were a pain in the ass to adjust, had to buy a ton of different shims. For this reason alone is why I would have gone with stud mount rockers over pedestal...since they would clear my FRPP VC's anyway. With my RPM2 intake the FRPP VC's barely cleared, giving roughly 1/4" from the bottom of the upper intake. THEN, I had to bend the fill neck slightly, to clear throttle body...such a pain in my ass. Pisses me off just thinking about it, lol.

Do things right the first time? Shouldnt u of used a spacer and used valve covers for the 94-95 instead of for the foxbody?? just saying u might run into problems down the rd
i did use a spacer. 1/2" fms spacer. and i used trickflow covers for a 302. i dont see how any of that will give me problems down the road.
