Fuel pump?

I'm going to be swapping in a cobra intake manifold w/ mac 70mm tb soon, and I realized that it's probably time for injectors as well. IF I do 24 pound injectors, do I need to do a fuel pump as well, or just the injectors and a f/p regulator? thanks! :nice:

Well what future plans do you have with the car?? the injectors will be ok, i'd also get a regulator (suggestion the aeromotive reg. is mint got mine for $100 at www.jdsperformance.com) As for the pump you can put a 190 in your car even though you really don't need it right now, but if you have plans then you should think about it

Thanks dude, I'm definately gonna grab that regulator. Will I need to get a dyno tune or anything with the injectors, or can the computer figure itself out? Thanks again!

whats up.( i just sold my 24#ers, i wish i woulda known u needed them)....heres a few points/sugesstions/my opinions:

1)u wont need a fuel pump with the injectors but i would strongly reccomend getting one. get your fuel stuff out the way plus leaves room for the future. Suggestion: 190lph

2)if u get the 24#ers, u wont need a dyno tune and the comp Will recognize it, BUT u will have to get your Mass Air Meter calibrated to them. So if u dont have one yet or werent planning on it, add that to the list :nice: Suggestion: 75mm ProM calibrated to 24#ers.
3)As for an adjustable fuel pressure regulator i would go with a Kirban unit. u can find them for like $60 and ive heard they are better than aeromotive. (well ive heard a few complaints + mustang magic doesnt like them either (aero)) esp. @ $100.
ok ttyl. good luck

What's up dude? How's the motor coming along? Thanks for the tips, once I get the manifold/fuel system/suspension outta the way, I'll have time to focus on "more important" things :D . I shoulda got in touch with you about those 24#'s. ****....

yo i just noticed something....u have the 65mm TB and want to get the 70...stick with the 65mm...its more then plenty for what u have..spend the 150 or so on something else...also u have the mass air...contact C&L and tell them u need a 24# sampling tube...if u look inside the meter u will see a tube...that justhas to be changed to teh 24 one and your set.
