I've had both my fronts AND rears smoking after only a few hot laps. Albeit I can't drive and am hard on brakes and tires but then again what mustang isn't?
yeah, i thought about it, but from all the trouble it would cause.. its not worth it. only about 15% of your braking power is in the rear, and it would probably create some noise on the highway. If you want something that looks functional at least, get the saleen side scoops.. i think you just pop off the old ones, have the saleen ones painted, and ur good to goStngStr said:1. create more drag at speed
2. make some more wind noise
3. look better while being entirely useless
4. maybe cool off the rear brakes that don't get too hot anyway.
Actually, they are not as simple as you would think. You have to remove the inside plastic paneling in your car to install the Saleen side scoops. Probably not that hard, just time consuming.wms004 said:If you want something that looks functional at least, get the saleen side scoops.. i think you just pop off the old ones, have the saleen ones painted, and ur good to go
