i removed the rear GT and Ford emblems b/c i didnt realize the Ford badge would have holes behind it. im afraid rain will get into the holes and rust the inside, so what can i use to patch it up or seal it from the inside???

btw, it looks TIGHT w/o all the "cluttler" on the rear. its got a real clean look now, and i dont mind the holes, im just worried about the water getting in

Why did you ever want to remove the Ford and GT emblems from the back of your Mustang GT? It doesn't look good with the emblems missing. Put them back on.

you, my friend, have your opinions and you need to keep them to yourself. i prefer the badges off, i like how the rear is cleaner now. all the clutter is gone. my only concern, as i mentioned prior, is water getting into the holes. if you would like to post somthing just for the sake of posting, then i recomend you start you own thread. i didnt ask if the badges looked good or not, i asked how to seal the holes. so if you have somthing to add about the subject, by all means go ahead. but if not, then dont post your off topic stupidity here.

Bondo, is a putty body filler. It can be had at any walmart or autozone. You will need to fill the holes, fair them out with a sanding block, and then have your trunk re-painted. This would be the right way. Or you can fill them and attempt to use touch-up , which will look worse than the emblem being there. Shaving badges isn't as easy as it seems.
