Hey all,

I got FRPP pedals for Christmas, but I can't figure out how to remove the pin that holds the accel pedal in place. What's the best way to do this?

Thanks for your help!

u need to re-use the pin so take the whole arm out and idsconnect the cable from the arm. tap the pin with a happer while the arm is out of the car, then put the new pedal on and tap the pin back in. i had the same problem and ended up breaking the oe pedal getting it off and breaking the frpp pedal putting it on and had to get anew one and do it the right way

I wish I could remember how I did it, all I know is that it sucked worse than anything I have ever done to my car. I couldnt get the pin back in so I used a bolt and nut to put on the new pedal.

Thanks for the advise - I was hoping to avoid taking the whole arm out. I guess thats the best way to go. Maybe someone else will have some cute way of getting it out without destroying the pedal and/or the pin.

I think I used visegrips too. I got the stupid thing out, drilled the pedal, put the Steeda ones on, and then even got it back in the car. What really sucked was when I realized that I hated the Steeda pedals, ripped them off, and cussed a lot because of all of the time I had wasted. :nonono:
