Chalk up another broken rear sway bar.From what i hear this is fairly common.Anyone else have this lovely problem? I don't think i will be using the stock one again.

5.0's 4 ever said:The problem is that there is no recall. Ford recalls a lot of junk that rarely has problems, yet when it comes to the mustang they don't care. Say if this rear sway bar problem was on the explorer I guarantee they would have a recall.

fiveofanatic said:There are recalls, & then there are Technical Service Bulletins. There are a lot of poorly designed parts out there that get redesigned, but not recalled. Another Ford problem part I can think of is the 4.6 SOHC intake manifold, the plastic coolant runners crack & split open from the heat cycling (seems like an obvious DUH). Ford has a redesigned intake with cast aluminum coolant passages instead of plastic, but the car owner foots the bill for replacement.
