The SRT series seems to be a good move.
are you talking about the new neons?

I think they are thew most hp per dollar.
my cousin looked at one, and it came to $32,000 canadian taxes in and all.

the mags say 230bhp
people dyno it @ 230fwhp.

thats pretty sick. not my style though and i would never buy one, but man I will never rev one up at the lights unless i run low 14's.

there is still the crowd out there that is ignorant about those vehicles and still mock them. those are the people getting their doors blown off by SRT4 neons and never talking about it to anyone else due to embarassment.

Still too new of a vehicle to really see how those 2.4's handle the boost.

Somewhat. When I said SRT series, I meant all of them. Neon SRT-4, Magnum SRT-8, Ram SRT-10, and Viper SRT-10.

ohhh. i did not know SRT was a whole series of vehicles.
I just thought they used RT as a trim, and added the S just as a prefix for the SRT-4 neon. meh i learned something.

im used to seeing RT dakota, RT10 viper, so I just thought it was RT.

or the srt-4 dodge, it's not rice, it's domestic, dual throaty sounding exhaiust and enoguh power to spank a stock 03 gt, i believe...

um, no.

stock to stock, it's a drivers race. neither one is spanking the other unless someone sucks at driving.

Yup. Look them up online. They're all new, it's just that the Viper and the Neon were the first to come out.

Honda

As an owner of a 2001 Honda Civic (purchased new) and having purchased 1993 Ford Areastar (lasted 10years and just died before xmas, and cost us a bundle to Fix Or Repair Daily) and on occasion Driver Returned On Foot = Ford backwards) I would say Honda blows Ford away when it come to being reliable. My wifes civic has 65000Kms on it and has never failed, buy the time we 65000kms on that areostar we had a stack of work orders as long as my arm! Sorry guys in my IMNSHO Honda backs their cars and wants to keep you as a customer, Ford takes your cash and frankly doesn't give a rats **** about you as a customer.
I will never again buy a new Ford of any kind, I will aslo go on record and state that I will never spend a dime on mod's to the civic, it's simply a putt putt car that goes back forth to work and stuff. (thats what is was purchased for).

To Mike 3800, if you buy the accord, don't mod it just drive it! Thats what Honda's are for!

You're not?? I must be confused then. I thought you bought a Daewoo? :D

I agree that you are confused and perhaps disturbed as well. But that's beside the point. :p

For $1500 below Blue Book/ NADA from my friend that owns a car lot, I bought it (Daewoo) because I am going through a bankruptcy right now since my wife was laid off a while ago, and now we have/had the debts of 2 incomes, with only one income. BTW my wife drives it since it is an automatic.

That's OK... I don't feel bad. It's still under warranty. Besides... this spring my patience will pay off. I am not poor you know.. just was under alot more debt than I should be.

What's that...? I can already hear the whirr now... :D

So you make your wife drive a Daewoo? :nonono:

Yes. She drives the more reliable, safer, newer car. She prefers the automatic anyway.

Really it's not that bad. For what it is it's not that slow really, no problems at the high altitude I live in. I can think of alot of cars much much slower.

I am way too old to gove a **** about name brands if that's what you mean.

Yeah, I don't really care much about brands either, and since GM's decided to cover the service on Daewoos, there's nothing really wrong with buying one.

But Daewoo's still funny. Day-woo, da-wu, daaaaaaaaaaaaay-wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

I miss Daewoo. I guess now I'll just have to amuse myself with Isuzu.

No doubt. I feel both my cars are funny, especially the Daewoo. Thus the reason for the big wheel in the avitar.

Ever see the car financing advertisement with the guy in line at the ATM with the kids bicycle? Yep... that's about what I feel like. I will remedy the situation in due time and get something with some REAL torque! :D

Hmmm, another is a 1993, the other is a 2001. I have a 1983 Accord and it never was reliable. Only driven for 80k miles or so. Been "almost fixed" for 7 years now.
