Best bolts for LT headers?

I ordered a set from Stage8 for $55. You don't have to worry about them backing out with the locking tabs. Some of them were quite a pain in the *** to get on, but I did the install without dropping my K-member. It was worth the few extra bucks in my opinion. Good luck on the install!

can you also possible to install lt headers on a 96 without dropping the k-member?

I did it without removing the K-Member on my 01 and I don't think a 96 would be much different. I had to jack up the engine a bit to get the passenger side LT to clear, and it does make for a tight work space on some of the bolts, but it's definately do able. By not removing the K-member you don't have to have worry about getting a compressor to get the springs back on or taking it to get aligned after the install.

At the same time, I'm sure the guys who pulled the K-member probably had a bit of an easier time getting the LT's bolted up than I did. I guess it all comes down to what you feel comfortable with as a "do it yourselfer".
