I have a 03 with a UPR off-road x-pipe coupled to a magnaflow catback and am thinking of putting on some longtubes with either a shorti pro-chamber or another offroad x-pipe and am wondering how different it will sound with another x-pipe and headers. it sounds pretty good now except when you are decelerating in gear, it makes a funny noise you can only hear from behind it, kind of a vacuum/sucking sound. just want to know how headers will change the sound, thats all. thanks

With LT's and a prochamber it will be very loud and deep. I had some popping on deceleration with my setup. It's noticably louder at idle, but not obnoxious, at WOT it will just scream. Even for normal driving around, you will really be able to hear the difference.
The power difference is very noticable, too.
If you've got the cash, go for it. LT's are worth every penny.

go to www.mustangexhaust.com, you can hear all kinds of cominations there. :nice: as far as longtubes & the prochamber, i absolutely love the sound  one of the best sounding exhaust combos out there imo. this will be my second car with the setup :D but the best thing that you can do is find some other people with stangs & listen to their exhaust & see what they have to figure it out the best. hearing the stuff over the computer doesn't do you justice listening to it :nice:

68&oo sweet video, sounds mean
jas 142 upr is a great product, no fitment issues, sounds a little nicer with the stock mufflers, but a little quiet for me, thats why i added the magnaflows. upr smell/smokes like crazy when you first heat it up...bad. if i was to do over i would try an off road h-pipe, just to see if there is much difference in sound from the X :nice:
