1967 and Older Shoulder Harness

Hey everyone, I was going through the local junkyard, and found a pretty interesting set of seatbelts. They are the 1968 style shoulder harnesses, but have the 1967 and earlier style buckle attachment. They are the same length, design, style, etc as the 68's except for the buckle attachment. They are original Ford belts, in near perfect condition, complete with 67 dated tags. I restore seatbelts (why I was searching that day) and had never seen a set like this. Anyone seen these before? They came out of a 68 Lincoln Continental, a really cool car but it was wrecked. I'd imagine it would be real easy to put them into a 67 or earlier, add another two buckles (what Ford did in 1968) and have a factory style shoulder harness. Anyone have any thoughts on these? I'm not sure what to do with them, I can't use them in any of my cars. Here's a picture (I hope this works!):

You do not wear the shoulder harness as a solo system. All that would need to be done is the addition of another lap belt over the existing one (at the same mounting point), exactly what Ford did in 1968. Then one female belt goes into the retractor and the other female belt goes into the shoulder harness.
