I'm considering purchase of some Caroll Shelby Enterprises products, specifically a dual plane intake manifold and aluminum hi-flow water pump. Is anyone familiar with the quality and performance of their products, especially for FE engines? How do they compare to the Edelbrock RPM Performer intake and Victor water pump, given differences in price? Thanks.

I think his intakes and water pumps are made by edelbrock. They just cast the shelby name on to them.

The intake is $455 (about $100 more than a Performer RPM) and the water pump is $190 (about $50 more than the Victor). I'll try to reach Shelby by phone today. If his products actually are made by Edelbrock, that's good with me.

Can you post whatever you find out? I was wondering about the same thing... One thing that he does make is an all aluminum FE block... That would be sweet but very pricey.
