I'm having trouble deciding. I was originally going to go with a BBK Longtube header and BBK catted xpipe but my friend and his brother said they hadn't heard good things about BBK. So we looked at bassani and I could get a Bassani MIDLENGTH (They dont make longtube?) header and xpipe for like $60 more.

Is one company "higher quality" or is it all a matter of opinion? If so, what are your guyses opinions?

Also, I am going with Flowmaster 40's mufflers

I had a friend who put BBK longtubes oh his '98 GT and we had one hell of a time getting them on. We had the car up on a lift and the headers just wouldnt fit right. I dont know much about Bassani stuff but I would say to spare yourself the trouble of the BBK installation and find something else.

Sorry to hijack here but. I already have mid pipe and catback. the ? is should i get some good shorties or go thru the hassle of selling my prochamber and get a long tube prochamber? I wont be able to install longtubes myself either so that will be another concern. supercharger is in the future if that is an issue? thanks

Will BBK longtubes give me more power than bassanni mid lengths? If so, how much?

About installation : Am installing the headers myself with help from a friend. We also know a shop that will weld up my xpipe, pipes, and mufflers for well under $300.

I'm looking at $945.00 for bassani mid length headers and catted xpipe
or $899.00 for BBK longtube headers and catted xpipe
+140 or so for the flow's
and about 200 for install

I would say go with the Bassani mid-length headers, Dr. Gas off-road X if your state allows them and the flowmasters.

This is the combo that I will eventually run with. I have had my Bassani X for a about 4 years now. No problems, just know that the Dr. Gas will outperform.
