2005 Mustang Seat Comfort

What was Ford thinking with our current GT seats? You can't even put your head back and against the headrest.

I can live without the lumbar support. I can live without side bolsters. But the fact that when I put my head back I am staring at my interior light is a major oversight on Ford's part. These have to be the worst designed seats I have ever sat in.

As someone mentioned previously, base-model Civics have superior seats to our Mustang GT's.

I am hopeful, though. I have noticed that Ford added a headrest "flip-forward" with the interior upgrade package on the 03-04's. I seems that they are least aware of the problem.

I was driving in a 2002 Rolls Royce. If you want really nice seats, the Rolls Royce is the car to own. The seats are really comfortable and sporty. The BMW, Audi, and Mercedes and Lexus seats are nothing compared to the Rolls Royce seats.

Did it have the optional heated brake pedal? How about the patented ass massage?

My 85 Audi 4000 S has factory recaro which are nice. Very supportive. My 93 Cobra is not very supportive, my 97 Cobra is a little better but not by much. The seats in the mustang tend to be cheap IMO.

You know, I was hoping they would have a heated break petal so my toes don’t get cold when I’m driving barefoot;)
As far as seat comfort, I think every seat would get uncomfortable in long car rides:( I hope the lumbar support gets better though. The one I have just pushes the lower part of my back forward instead of supporting it.

I also don't agree with having a "rainbow-brite-mobile" environment.

It would make more sense and would be more aesthetically pleasing that if one changed the color to red, all of the lights would change to red. This would make it more homogeneous in the cockpit regardless of what color one chooses. I was not sure if the fiber optics were integrated throughout the whole cabin as well.

It wouldn't be so bad if everything else lit up in a neutral color (i.e. white). The lighting on the standard gauges is white isn't it?
