Pretty darn sweet if you ask me - I remember seeing this advertised in a 1996 issue of MM&FF (still have the mag) and it claimed to have gains of 47 hp. Requires a custom hood (also offered by Roush once apon a time) The list price was like $2700 (included hood). I'd bid on it but I have no intentions of getting a different hood (not enough funds right now) Pretty sweet piece if you ask me! Rare for sure! :flag:

does that get teh air from the cowl?? looks liek a sweet set up. i wonder if it bolts up to a regular cold air intake or w/e. doesnt seem liek it does.
anyone know how htis intake is good? like for a stroker of high RPM applocations??

It does look like it would use air from the cowl, all the mass that would be infront of the firewall is moved tward the front of the engine, and in those pictures you can see a panel type airbox. The pics posted on here seem to be someones custom setup.

YEAH, how the hell do you put oil in it? :shrug:
 
I believe that the filter set-up shown that comes with the intake was made to work with a ram-air style hood. It does look like it would work with a regular cowl induction hood. And how would you put oil in the engine anyway :rolleyes:
