vacuum leak problems!!!

Does anybody have the vacuum diagram for the fox bodies? or anybody know where i can buy the replacement hosing for all the vacuum lines, because i have a leak somewhere and i cant seem to find the damn thing, the hosing is original and has lots of cracks. Anybody know what the most comin place for vacuum leaks are? My car seems to bog a bit in low RPM!!! until it hits about 3 grand. Anybody have the same problem? Thanks :notnice:

for routing, this may help. note that it is from an 88. courtesy of TMoss:

what is your vac reading at idle? 16-20" is normal. normal places for leaks are anywhere lines get real hot or can vulcanize, which is everywhere. i had some under the plenum (upper intake).
i dont know of any kits or anything. i keep several or more feet of each size of vac, fuel, heater, etc line on hand. you may end up buying some and piecing it together.
that is the best i got. good luck.

Hey thanks for the diagram, yeah not only was the trick flow intake alot different than the stock intake as far as vacuum routing goes, i still dont know if i got it right or not, but i had to use all the old hoses, so im thinkin it might just be an old hose leaking but i checked and they seem good. But i dont know i might just have to take the upper off and replace everything i can get? thanks for the help...

if you swapped intakes, did you re-use your injectors, or did you go w/ new? I put a rebuilt 3.8 in my parents taurus last summer, and had the motor freshened up at a local machine shop. When i dropped it in, it ran like crap, and the 02 sensors were throwing a code. Turns out they do that w/ a vacuum leak. The injector O rings were the culprit. I had simply put the injectors back in the intake after everything was cleaned/assembled, and even though they looked ok, they were leakers. $15 for a pack of 10 o rings at my local ford dealer, and about an hour to swap the orings, and it ran like a top. I could audibly hear air being sucked in around an injector or two, but it may be difficult w/ 5.0 if it is loud at all. This thing is pretty quiet, so i could hear it easily.

yeah i changed the injectors to 24s because my buddy had a problem with his 19s cracking, so i made sure to upgrade. But the car runs good it just had a little hesitation at low rpm, and its running on the lean side so i know there has to be a leak coming from somewhere? I just gotta find it...
