What do you think about this product. I want to get a new midepipe and this supposedly makes almost as much power as a offroad x/h pipe would. It seems like the main problems with this, is getting it to fit right and leaking. For people that do have it, are you satisified with it? Is there any other h/x pipe I should look at? Also would the check engine light come on, if this is installed?

i have the prochamber and i love it.. i have had no problems with leaking or trying to make it fit. it fit perfect and only took about 10 minutes to install. i think i gained about 4 or 5 hp over the x or h pipe. you can't go wrong with MAC

I like mine, got good power (in combination with longtubes) so I cant tell yo uhow you'll gain over an x/h pipe. You'll need to get mil eliminators to prevent the CEL from coming on when you install any off road pipe.

I loved my prochamber on my 2000...I just had to replace one of the manifold studs on the driver side and leak free from there on out :nice:

I also got the Dallas Mustang MIL Eliminators and the light stayed off...

I just put one on this weekend. Sounds great with the 40 series...
My freind has the the Mac h-pipe, 40 series and his is definatly louder than
the Pro-Chamber. I used the plug and play Mil's (about $50) and no SES light to be seen. I didnt notice any SOTP gains but am very satisfied so far.

I've also heard to get passenger side flange gasket from Ford, because the one that comes with the mac is terrible. Do you think i really need to get this?

I give my PC a 7 on a 10 scale for overall satisfaction. I really do not like the quality of its construction. It is aluminized steel, and the welds start to rust very quickly. It looks like a$$ next to my magnaflow catback. I don't know if they fixed the flange problems where it connects to the driver's side manifold, but that was a real PITA to fix. I do however like the power and sound. It does make good power, and it sounds really good.

I would however opt for something like a magnaflow or VRS X pipe if I did it again.

you won't need a new gasket since your car is still new. it's copper so you can reuse it but you will need to buy the manifold stud kit for it to fit right. it's only like $8 at napa

the only reason i bought my prochamber was that i picked it up used for $120. when i got it it looked pretty good. sanded off some rust and hit it with some high temp paint and it still looks good. but for the $250 or whatever they're asking for it i'd rather pick up an mrt H pipe. costs a little more but it's ss

definately. the POS paper gasket that comes with the pro-chamber blew out on mine in 2 days or so. the replacement ford gasket costs like $7. GET IT.
