Drilled Rotors

Anybody with drilled rotors have any problems with it cracking? I like to purchase them but the rep. said they crack. I like to know whether I should get that or slotted. Thanks

The chances of them cracking are higher.

Personally, I'd either go solid or slotted.

I've posted this before, but...

The bottom line is that cross-drilled/slottled rotors are unnecessary in most any application, aside from the bling-factor they provide. Don't waste your money.

Unless you do Open Track, then you don't need anything besides stock solid rotors....

According the Baer rep cross drilled rotors are mostly asthetic. They used to have been better but with current caliper technology that's not the case. It's the size of the rotor that matters the most and ofcourse the type of caliper.

Just read that thread. WOW, what fun, with all the name calling, and with the controversy, and the tech, and lack of tech, and then tech. Just remember, when it comes to the tech part of things, don't listen to custom89stang. He is, as he might say, a dumba$$. Pay attention to the guys that post the big, pretty numbers that make your head not work quite right. They base their statements on physics. Oooo. Scary.
