My KB is finally installed!!!  All I had left to do this evening was fill up with coolant. Dan_Soprano had a really good idea on how to prime the IC pump. Remove the top hose on the IC reservior, pour in some coolant and then run the pump while blowing through the hole in top. Repeat the process until the coolant circulates all the way through the hoses. Kind of messy but it worked faster than the way KB suggested. I mounted my switch chip switch in my glove box. I'll post pics later if someone will resize them for me. Looks like it was meant to be there from the factory. This thing is a torque MONSTER! Man I love it!!! Everyone should be able to feel the power. :hail2:

Had a KB on my other mustang :hail2:. It's quite a site watching the boost needle instantly tag 8psi (in my case). Too bad I can't buy one for this car now :( .. for awhile anyway.

Wow I'm jealous, you have a fast vert which makes it even better. Do you have subframes? If not, get them immediately.

I'm torn between paying off my car and throwing in a 331/347 with AFR's and an FTI cam or buying a 99+ GT and throwing a blower on it. KB or the Cobra Killer/Mongoose kit would be my only choices. Either car will be :nice:

I can resize and/or host any pics you need. I'll PM you my email!

I'm coming down to Greensboro in a couple days. I'd LOVE to get ride in that beast! :worship:

Actually SFC's are my next mod. I'll probably have those done in a couple of weeks. After that I plan on a new clutch. Then a shifter. This whole modding thing is a disease! You would not believe how much the front end lifts up when you punch it. Suspension mods are definitely in the future. I sent you the pics. Thanks!

If I were at the beginning stages of building my '89 LX I would probably have gone with a '99+ convertible and threw an intercooled KB kit on it. It takes a lot of work (and money) to get 450 rwhp from a 5.0L. The KB on a '99+ GT does it on a stock engine. Plus, forge the bottem end and raise the boost and make 550 rwhp. This new kit from KB makes adding hp a fairly easy and, overall, less costly exercise.

I'm hoping around 420 rwtq. Considering my mods I should be around that area. At least thats what I think. I will definitely let you guys know once I am done. BTW I love the videos of your dyno pull.

thanks :)

What fuel system are you running? Stock gt pump with KB bap controlled by KB chip?
