What road did you take those pics on? It looks familiar. I used to live in Chandler as well, near Dobson and Chandler Blvd.

they were pulled of to the side of the road heading west on queen creek near arizona ave. i rushed home and grabbed my camera (i live very close the the intersection), caught them going west on queen creek heading for the 10 fwy. the pics are from the 10 fwy towards tucson. just a few miles south of firebird raceway. it was about 9:30am. the crazy part is i saw them again at about 11:30am heading east bound on queen creek near arizona ave!! there's not much out there east of that intersection so i have no clue where they were going.

oh ya... i don't work for ford, i was just in the right spot at the right time.

Yes I have posted some silly topics on here because it seems that every thread is either about a sub $20K V-8 or IRS in the GT, Thats it. Some of the topics I've posted have at least sparked some interesting debate and facts instead of everyone constantly bashing eachother about price and IRS. The GT will not be under $20K and it will not have IRS. As far as the first two pics in this thread, yes they did looked photoshopped to me. The wheels threw me off the most because there are claims that the new lug pattern will be different. Also as far as the vert goes, many sources say that Ford may not have the vert ready until late 05 early 06. Now the rest of the pics do look realistic and some of the links on here provide a little more info into them. Yes, some of my post or suggestions may be a little silly, but I at least I try to get everyone thinking about different ideas and possibilities without bashing anyone.

Two of my car buddies saw the two coupes and the vert today. I know you all won't believe me that they saw the vert because noone thinks it is out yet, but I can promise it was here in Arizona today! One of my friends saw it on Arizona and Queen Creek Rd, and the other saw them all stopped at the gas station at Price and Queen Creek - he was peaking in the windows. The bad news is that the vert was plain ugly (I am extremely dissapointed). The vert lost the whole fastback feel (it just makes an angled drop when it gets to the back of the car) - I was hoping for the same look in the vert, but hopefully Ford will make some changes before next February.

Their coming out with a zebra painted Mustang....I am going to DEFINITELY buy one now!!! :D :rlaugh: Those photos look pretty real to me!! I haven't seen an photos of the vert one yet, but I am sure it's possible for them to be testing it already.

Yes the wheels could throw someone off. But you have to look at it this way. Maybe whenthey built the test mule they didn't have the axle reay to go in it. Or maybe those bullit rims were redrilled to allow them to go on the car. As for the Vert. That's easy. They have to test it sometime before it's release. And where better to do it than arizona. I think the test mules in coupe form have been around longer than the vert mule. So it makes sense that there will be a delay.

If you look closely the wheels are not the same "Bullitt" wheels as used on the 2001 - 2004 Mustangs. Note that these wheels have a much higher offset. For 3 months I've been trying to point that the 05 Mustang has higher offset wheels, but no one seems to want to belive me.

As far as some of the early 05 test cars having Bullitt wheels that are the same as the '01 - '04 Mustangs, it means nothing. Early test mules can be thown together from all sorts of parts, including spindles, rotors, etc. that are not representative of the production cars.

Is it just me, or that Mustang definantly has a huge gap on the lower portion of the DOOR to body.

Also notice the TIRE odometer they are using...

My guess is they are trying to see how well and how many miles this 4.6 can last... and they are going by different weather condition areas also.

Go Ford!
