Hey, my uncle is going with a 4.10 Ford Racing Gear in his 99 Cobra. We are installing it and have ran into a problem! We installed the same size shim under the pinion bearing as was in the stock rear end, and when we installed the ring gear differential and tightened the cap bolts the gears locked up. We then switched pinion bearing spacers from a .032 to a .027 and it is still locking up. Do you have any suggestions what shim we need to use or what may be causing this problem??? Also could you tell me the torque for the differential cap bolts? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks Guys! Jared
