How its work? Do you agree to me to buy it? is there any prob. with it? Does it work in hot and cold wither? What is your ¼ time?

See KB Link :flag:

I did it,

It works very well and has not missed a beat. Like any supercharger, you lose power in how weather do to the hot air. I used my car with the KB for open track events and auto-Xing. I never took it drag racing. Best HP/ TQ I can muster from the setup is 385 HP and 378 TQ.

What were your general impressions of it during open track events, application of power, traction coming out of turns, etc.?

Did it overheat easily when pushed hard lap after lap? Water injection?

Also, how do you think the K/B would compare to a centri. during open track events and autocrossing? I would imagine a twin screw would outperform a centri under those conditions easily.

Thoughts?

Wow I figured 385 would be abit low. Whats your boost? Especially since we are seeing 400+ on 99+ GT"s with KB's and Saleen SC's.

[Edit] Especially with all of your other mods.

This is one beef with KB units for 96-98 cobra's that you just reminded me of. The kits for my car do not have an intercooler option nor do we have any sort of bypass valve unlike the 99+ GT kits.

Car feels like you are driving a true big block. Due to the fact you can not over rev the engine (Shift at 6400 RPM's) the power never gets out of control. In autocross it's hands down better. In open track event's the Centi would be better in the long straight aways but the twin screw does better coming out of the turns but they just don't make as much power.
