I was wondering the major differences as well as pro's and cons between these two blowers for a 99 cobra. I know that the procharger is a centrifugal and the kb is a twin screw and a twin screw is more effieient but the procharger has an intercooler and such. What about hp/tq and cost as well as ease of installation performance resuslts and cost.

He's right. KB was supposed to be working on one for the 99 for a while but it got put aside. I think they were thinking about doing it but needed some input from the public about it. I dont think enough people showed interest so i think the idea got canned again. Dunno though, find out from someone who may know a little bit more. Good luck

If you go to www.Modularfords.com/forums under 4V Modular Tech you will see a thread about this issue. there is a spokesman from Kennebell who confirms that they are working on a supercharger for the 99-01 Cobra but it won't be in the production phase for a couple of months. It is a sure thing there will be a kit.

The thread is called Kenne Bell '99-'01 Cobra SC info......

last month KB said 90 day fo 99-01

Here is the email I got from them

we have '99-'01 Cobra in our shop that we are working on, we're shooting to have a kit ready to fit under the stock hood, also we are looking to see if an intercooler will be feasible. Should be about 90 day out. Thank you for your inquiry!

I waited on a Kenne Bell for 1 1/2 years and listened to them jerk everyone around. But I want to thank KB for making my decision for me. I got a Procharger and I woudn't have it any other way. Get the Procharger, KB will never make a kit for the 99-01 Cobras. They will stick to their :bs: as long as you listen to them.
