BFG DR's = more traction
Nitto DR''s = more life and drivability
I got Nitto 555R DR's recently. It was a night and day difference in traction, and handles fine also. My car is not my daily driver but my fun car. I was going to get the BFG's but my buddy had the BFG DR's on the back of his Camaro, and yes they stuck like glue, they have a softer rubber compound than the Nitto's, so they stick better but wear faster. Another problem he had with the BFG's were not only did they stick everything on the road to them, but he had rocks go into the rubber and cause a leak. They only lasted 3500miles.
I wonder what the MT DR's are going to be like. From the pics, they look almost completly slick, and I am sure they will have a soft compound. I am guessing they will be made for the class restricted racing.
