What size gear is in the rear? And Does Anyone have the caculator for figuring out what the RPM's would be with a certain gear installed.

What is the best sounding exhaust on a stock with very few mods? Im looking for a deep loud sound. Im thinking SLP's but just wanted to get some opinions. THANKS

Here's one with a more detailed comparison than the Corral calc: http://www.svtoa-atlanta.org/cgi-bin/trans.cgi

That's highly subjective. If you want a classic muscle car sound, you want a chambered muffler, like a flowmaster. Straight through mufflers like Magnaflow sound farty to my ears, but they make good power and lots of people swear by them.

Slp sounds kinda weird, if you picture your h pipe, it sounds like the sound is bouncing back and forth across the h part. But of you want something different than that is up to you. The tips look nice though! My wife doesn't know jack about cars, but she even smiled when I got my a/t catback. Spintech is kinda along the same lines as far as sound goes compared to slp In my opinion. MUSTANGEXHAUST.COM Check out their sound clips. Good luck

I have used all of them in different cars. The key for me is the X-pipe. They sound better and make more power than H-pipes. Bassanis are good, I liked the tailpipe resonators, they had deep bassy sound until you got up in the rpm then they wailed. Currently I have long tube headers and 3" X-pipe, Flowmaster Deltaflows, and it's a little too loud. But at the track it sounds so sweet. As a rule, Flowmasters are louder, Magnaflows and Bassani's don't sound that different to me, without the resonators.

i had an o/r H with american thunder flowmasters on my cobra and i really loved the sound... nice and loud. im gettin a cobra or mach 1 asap. i was immediatly thinking of doin the same exhaust i had. people are saying the X pipes are makin more power and i see a lot more people keeping the cats on them. u think with long tube headers and a catted x pipe with flows or magnapacks would be as loud as the o/r H with flows? im gonna go to mustangexhaust.com and see if they have anything new.
