i dont know what to go with... a mid length bassani headers that are ceramic coated or an accufab plenum. I know there is a price gap between these two mods but i still want your opinions regardless of the price (just opinions based on performances) Also what is the difference between long tube headers and just mid size headers????

Well, assuming that you have the correct mid pipe (X or H) to fit the midlength headers I'd go with them. According to Bassani, they are the optimal length for hp and torque. I've only seen them dynoed in one mag and they outgained MAC longtubes by a fair margin.

If you don't have a bigger throttle body, the accufab plenum isn't worth much. A switch to midlengths and a different mid-pipe (required) would be a pretty penny, into the 700s I'd wager. I've never seen the Accufab dyno over 12hp, and that's with a new throttlebody.

Basically they are both solid mods, how much do you want to spend to go fast? I'd take the bigger hp gain if I had the cash. A plenum w/o throttle body is a small gain.

The Bassani Mid-Length Headers $550 ''ceramic coated,'' will only fit Bassani 03 Cobra X-pipe. You will need to customize your current X-pipe to make it fit about a $150 jobber. As for power gains it did add lots of torque but horsepower wise it felt like 12-18 rwhp.I did the Header job last so...I it felt it with all the mods I listed. If you're looking for some real power go with Longtubes. If I could start all over I would sell my existing X-pipe and I probably would have went with Longtubes and Dr Gas X-pipe.But the real pain is getting them installed for a decent price.Depending on the places you take them to be installed. Some places would not even do it because it's not smog legal, unless you can do it yourself.

If you order them tell the person you need a set for catted X pipe. They will send two pieces of pipe that fit right before the cats.I would think you would be able to cut your pipe and make it work with no problems. I just got a custom H pipe made for mine.Sounds great and a great product.
