How interested do you think Ford is in marketing these special models as collectables, and how do you think that will affect their future choices in Mustang editions?

My thoughts:
When Ford released the Bullitt (which as you are probably getting sick of hearing: I LOVE) they predicted about 6500 hundred units. They ended up making 5582 cars ( http://www.bullittarchive.com/ a wonderful place for any Mustang enthusiast to go). As far as I know they only planned one year of the Mach 1, but since it sold so well, they pushed it to two. So I guess one could "assume" they went collectable with the Bullitt, and went with sales on the Mach 1. What I am getting at is: will the way they conducted these two cars have an influence on future Mustang models? Will they want to keep the Bullitt name special and not make anymore, but continue to make the Mach 1 since they will make it sell (making it less rare, and making it less of a collectable in the eyes of some)? Will they include or exculde certain nameplates based on colletablilty or sales? Sorry that this is such a long post, but I was just wondering if anybody else had an opinion on this. Happy driving all.
