Pics of the 2A DD - Vids of the 2R

I got out and enjoyed the good weather immensely today. Finished installing new weather stripping and waxed the car. Don't be fooled by the pics - I didn't edit them, but this car is a 20 footer at best and more likely a 50 footer. The paint is chipped and the front nose has bra rot. I ran out of light, but the pics look ok.

I posted an update on the 2R in the SVO history thread, but here it is again. I took some vids too. One of the third start and one of the Magnaflow exhaust.

First day running in 10 years A little low on water, but she runs without even the expected PE ECU miss.

Sounds Good Magnaflow Exhaust

You will need the XviD codec to paly them. It's a one click install. http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/

Enjoy.

Two different cars. The passenger door on the 2R is from my 84 2A that got wasted last September. I'm hoping to have the 2R in for paint by mid month. If I do get the 2A repainted, it's going to be cheap... it is my daily driver after all... 144K on the clock.

wow, everything considered i'd venture to say it looks good!

Thanks guys.

I'll get some more vids eventually. I love my little Canon S50. 3 Minutes of audio and video and it actually sounds good.

Here is one me and a friend took of an SVO running the quarter at FFW in Ohio last year. I took the half track to finish.

Matt had a bad start and missed 3rd, but you can see the end results with the closeup my wife took of the board. The car did a 13.5 the next day.

Svo Race

It's been months since I messed with encoding - I'd like to know how I got that file size so small. Probably frame size. I'll go play with the other two and see if I can shrink them.

I'm Poughkeepsie, NY

There is another Medium Canyon Red that's local to me, or at least it's been spotted at the grocery store about 10 minutes from here. I don't know if there are any Jalapeño red cars around like the one I'm restoring. There is a black one owned by a friend of mine in Carmel, NY. I don't even know where Canandaigua is. *lol* The Light Grey one I picked up last week should be here tomorrow or Thursday, but I'm not taking pics of it. :puke: - hence the project title Rusty Resto. If it's bad enough, the roof comes off and we look for a doner T-Top car. :nice:

Xaranthu, is that '84 SVO the one you bought off SVOCA a little while ago? Damn it I want an SVO! :bang:

I'll consider it if the price is right. I'm looking for one a little closer though. Besides, if I'm gonna get an SVO, I'll have to sell my '89 and '86 Mustangs first.

I'm looking for a cheaper one/ fixer upper. I can't afford anything over $2,000 dollars though.
