Where to get parts for a rear end build up?

I've seen Eaton 31 spline posi diff's (new) on ebay for around $370.00 with free shipping. Thats the cheapist I've seen for a eaton. Anyone use Strange axles? I've seen them in JEG's and Summit for good prices as well. I know people who use them on their race cars, but not on the street??? Was looking at them for my car.

I've got strange axles and an eaton diff. Lots of street cars running even more aggressive setups than that (ie spools) but it does detract from the street manners a bit when running a spool.

With a five speed, you definately want something stronger than OEM parts. Moser engineering and Eaton are two of the best I recommend to go with. I have a 31 spline rear diff. that is OEM Ford Im planning on using, but then again, Im also in an automatic car.

whats a spool? Is it like a locker, and what are its advantages? See, lots of questions :)
