hey guys need your help. this morning i went to install my new Aeromotive FPR and VDO gauge. the FPR fits fine but theres no way in hell that i can get the gauge on there too, theres like a 1/4 inch gap. has anyone put a FPR on their cobra and has the gauge with it too? i don't want to just slap the regulator on there without the gauge because i have no idea what the pressure is. i know i want to get a chip burned soon but can they actually change the fuel pressure? any help you guys can give is appreciated.

I had the same problem when I went to install mine...I ordered the same VDO gauge too...I ended up selling the whole thing because I didn't feel like installing it again and I needed the money...but to put the gauge on the car, you'll need the fitting that goes where the Schrader valve is on the front of the passenger side fuel rail...I got that fitting from Steeda for like $9, the part number is 167-85NOS

BTW, I didn't think that AFPR's worked with the 98's?

well i went to home depot and picked up basically the same fittings that steeda is selling and some copper tubing to run the gauge to any easier place. i've seen a guy at the track with one on his 98, it was a BBK, it was a gift so we'll see.
